RSPB - Bittern again Dosthill NR on Northern pit (J Morgan)
Ladywalk - 2 Siberian Chiffchaff still. Also ringed Siberian (or integrade) still present but not calling (Many Obs) Jack Snipe with 12 Common Snipe below Riverwalk hide (S Cawthray)
Dosthill (Warks) - 2 Long-Tailed Duck

Could somebody please confirm location of "Dosthill NR Northern pit" and how to access by road / on foot?
ReplyDeletePark at the Water Ski Car Park (£3 payable on exit) which if off A51 between Kingsbury and Dosthill villages. Walk round east side of Disthill Water Ski Lake (Main Pit) keeping eye out for the long-tailed ducks in the bays. Dosthill NR is the pits next tot he river at North end of Dosthill Main pit. The northern pit is best viewed from a spit whichis easily accessible along the path by river.
