Alan Dean comments - "Unless someone hears any ‘adverse’ call, it seems reasonable now to regard the ringed bird as ‘fulvescens’ (i.e. westerly form of tristis, which do have some ‘additional’ olive and yellow)."

RSPB - Bittern flushed from the river bank late morning and landed in Dosthill NR (S Atkinson) Bittern Fisher's Mill Noon (J Fincham). 6 Little Egret, Shelduck North Pit. Also Stonechat, Woodcock, Oystercatcher (S Atkinson, G Williams)

If anyone has unequivocally heard the ringed Siberian-type Chiffchaff at Ladywalk - could they pass on the details to me. This will help in determining its ID. The 2 unringed birds have been heard and sound recorded. For an update from Alan Dean on the Ladywalk Chiffchaffs see here.
