Kingsbury - Sandwich Tern 6.45am - 6.55am on Cliff Pool then flew East (K Sargent)
Shustoke - Sandwich Tern c10.30am then flew North (S Cawthray) Also 80 Swift, 7 Common Sandpiper (S Cawthray)
Ladywalk - Marsh Harrier imm male c6pm-8.3opm at least on Marsh (J Alton, S Cawthray et al)

Bassett North - Garganey(m), 3 Dunlin, Wheatear, Yellow Wagtail (S Cawthray)

Most summer migrants (including all the regular warblers) are now in at their usual sites, albeit in fairly low numbers in some cases.

Nearby a male Blue-Headed Wagtail at Caldecote Hall 8.30am but not since. Also 7 Yellow Wagtail, 5 Wheatear (Bobby D et al)

Please note regular unconfirmed reports from Alvecote reported to the Bird News services a day or more after the event are not included unless confirmed. County Recorder please take note.

Nearby a Wood Warbler this morning at Baddesley off Waste Lane but no sign this evening. Unfortunately news was not relayed to me till too late.

Dosthill NR -6 Reed Warbler (L Johnson, S Cawthray)
Fisher's Mill - Greenshank then flew North, 3 Dunlin (L Johnson)
Ladywalk - Black-Tailed Godwit, Whimbrel till mid afternoon only (S Cawthray, Bobby D) Also Curlew (S Cawthray)
Kingsbury South - 14+ Yellow Wagtail, White Wagtail in mowed grass by track to Hemlingford Water, 300+ Sand Martin, 20 House Martin (TP, M Yapp)
Kingsbury - Common Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, Common Tern, 3 Swift Cliff Pool (L Johnson) Black-Tailed Godwit till 12.30pm then flew South (per LJ) This is presumed to be Ladywalk bird.

Whitacre Heath NR - Green Sandpiper, Little Egret (J Wesson)
Hopwas - Ring Ouzel (m) at Packington (M Priest) The bird was in the second field behind the Pig Farm until 3.30pm when it decided to disappear. Access is via parking on lay-by on the main road out of Hopwas and then cross the road and take the footpath into the wood until you come to the first new crop field.
