4th April - Sightings

Ladywalk - Red Kite over 1.15pm. Also Scaup(m), Curlew, 22 Goosander, 2 Water Rail (K Sargent)

3rd April - Sightings

Garganey - Paul Lathbury

Ladywalk - Scaup(m) still. Also 2 Garganey(m,f), Mealy Redpoll (P Lathbury et al)
Shustoke - Merlin(fem) through this evening (P Forbes)

Coton - 2 Little Gull (ads) still (S Haynes)
RSPB - 2 Long-Tailed Duck still Dosthill NR. Also Sand Martin (A Barnsley et al)
Tamworth - Marsh Harrier (fem) Ventura Retail Park over to SE at 5.45pm (A Archer)
Ladywalk - Sand Martin (B Jones)

1st April - Sightings

Coton - 2 Little Gull (both ad win) (G Briddick, S Hayne et al) Also 5 + Sand Martin mid-afternoon (TP, J Allen)
RSPB - 3 LRP, Dunlin, 4 Redshank, 2 Little Egret, Green Sandpiper North Pit (TP, J Allen) Jack Snipe recently (G Williams) 29 Goldeneye Dosthill NR. Also the 2 Long-Tailed Duck seen here (J Harris)
Ladywalk - Siberian Chiffchaff (J Harris)
Dosthill (Warks) - 2 Long-Tailed Duck still but later in Staffs. Also 11 Oystercatcher, 3 Woodcock, Jack Snipe, 4 Goosander (G Williams et al)

31st March - Sightings

Ladywalk - 3 Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker, Siberian Chiff (ringed bird) seen and heard near entrance gate, 2 Water Rail, Curlew, 2 Snipe, 37 Goosander, Scaup(m), 2 Willow Tit (S Cawthray et al)

30th March - Sightings

RSPB - poss Mealy Redpoll on feeders. Also Tree Sparrow, 3 Lesser Redpoll (TP)
Ladywalk - Scaup(m), Curlew, 2 Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker, Woodcock, 2 Water Rail (J Morgan)
Whitacre Heath NR - 22 Meadow Pipit, 100 Redwing in field by Car Park (TP)
