RSPB - Bittern flew over the Silt Pool from the direction of the canal and dropped into the reedbed. Also Wigeon on reserve still  (N Beswick)

3rd June - Sightings

RSPB - 2 Avocet, Bittern Fisher's Mill. 4 Black-Tailed Godwit, 2 Yellow Wagtail, Curlew, Redshank (juv), Great-White Egret Jubilee Wetlands (K Thorpe et al) The Bittern was heard booming though probably in vain.
