22nd June - Sightings

Bassett Area - 2 Common Cranes over "Middleton Pools" flew towards Kingsbury WP at 12pm (per WMBC). Also Wood Sand reported (per WMBC) Any further info on these gladly received? The two cranes left Groby Pools, Leics at 11.20am, and arrived at Belvide, Staffs at 2.05pm.

Bassett North - 2 Garganey (m,f), 21 Black Tailed Godwit, Greenshank this morning (per RBA) 25-28 Black-Tailed Godwits Early Afternoon (J Harris) The godwits flew north at 6.20pm (Preusumably to Alvecote). No sign of Garganey or Greenshank this evening, but 2nd Sum Yellow-Legged Gull, Green Sandpiper, 6 Teal, 2 Shoveler (J Allen)
Shustoke - Reed Warbler. The second site Record (L Johnson)
Alvecote - 16 Black-Tailed Godwit this morning increasing to 42 this evening (A Archer et al)
