30th March - Sightings

RSPB - poss Mealy Redpoll on feeders. Also Tree Sparrow, 3 Lesser Redpoll (TP)
Ladywalk - Scaup(m), Curlew, 2 Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker, Woodcock, 2 Water Rail (J Morgan)
Whitacre Heath NR - 22 Meadow Pipit, 100 Redwing in field by Car Park (TP)

Shustoke - Red Kite lingered for a while late morning (S Haynes et al)
Wishaw - Merlin again Wishaw Lane. Also 32 Golden Plover (TP)

25th March - Sightings

Wishaw - On Blindpit Lane 4 Corn Bunting, 20 Skylark with Linnets and Reed Bunting. 100 Fieldfare. On Wishaw Lane Merlin(fem),  8 Golden Plover, 20 Lapwing, 15 Skylark , 120 Fieldfare, 6 Redwing. Little Egret (S Cawthray)
Kingsbury South - Little Gull(ad) on river at Hemlingford Mill (A Dean)
Dosthill (Warks) - 1 Long-tailed Duck (1st Sum M) still, 6 Oystercatcher, 52 Shoveler (J Harris)
Ladywalk - Scaup(m), 6 Goosander, 3 Chiffchaff, 15 Meadow Pipit, 4 Snipe, 30 Redwing (J Harris) There have been no confirmed sightings of the Siberian Chiffchaffs since 13th March despite reports on Birdguides.
