5th July - Sightings

RSPB - Greenshank, 2 Avocet + 2 Young North Pit. 1+ Green Sandpiper, 7 Ringed Plover, 2 broods of Gadwall Jubilee Wetlands. 3 Green Sandpiper, brood of Gadwall Hall Lake. The family party of 5 Avocet seem to have left the reserve (S Pick, TP)

4th July - Sightings

RSPB - No sign of White-Winged Black Tern today (Many Obs) 4 Green Sandpiper Hall Lake (TP) 2 Green Sandpiper, 2 Dunlin, 6 Ringed Plover Jubilee Wetlands (J Allen)
Ladywalk - 2 Green Sandpiper, 3 Little Egret, White Wagtail (P Lichfield)

3rd July - Sightings

White-Winged Black Tern - Steve Pick (Upper) and Bob Duckhouse(Lower)

RSPB - WHITE-WINGED BLACK TERN c8.20pm at least Jubilee Wetlands. This evening it was showing well from the 2 benches on the North East shore (G Williams et al) The second reserve record after one on 01/08/2005.

Also 20 Black-Tailed Godwit with 3 left late evening (G Williams) Mediterranean Gull (2nd Sum) late evening (TP, J Allen, A Archer) Also Dunlin, c20 Ringed Plover (TP et al)

Yesterday - Mediterranean Gull in evening. Also 18 Ringed Plover, 6 LRP, 4 Redshank, Green Sandpiper, 9 Avocet (S Pick)

Ladywalk - 2 Black-Tailed Godwit, Snipe, 3 Green Sandpiper, 2 LRP, 8 Little Egret, 2 Shoveler, 3 Teal (P Lichfield)

Ladywalk - Green Sandpiper, Redshank, LRP, 5 Little Egret, 2 Pochard, 4 Shoveler, 3 Teal, Mandarin, Wigeon, 8 Juv Goosander, Curlew (per P Sofley)

30th June - Sightings

Mediterranean Gulls (S Pick)

RSPB -2 Mediterranean Gull (ad) briefly - flew in from the south touched down on Jubilee Wetlands for a couple of minutes then headed North. Also 20+ Ringed Plover, Green Sandpiper, 9 Avocet, 4 Redshank. Cuckoo still calling Silt Pool. Green Sand Hall Lake (S Pick)
