Ladywalk - Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker, Jack Snipe, Mealy Redpoll still (J Allen, D Hutton et al) Also Siberian Chiffchaff (ringed) today and heard to call like a Siberian (J Allen, D Hutton)
Dosthill(Warks) - 2 Long-Tailed Duck still (Mik Clarke)

Alan Dean comments - "Unless someone hears any ‘adverse’ call, it seems reasonable now to regard the ringed bird as ‘fulvescens’ (i.e. westerly form of tristis, which do have some ‘additional’ olive and yellow)."

Ladywalk - Siberian Chiffchaff, Mealy Redpoll, Jack Snipe, Little Egret (J Allen)
Dosthill (Warks) - at least 1 Long-Tailed Duck reported still (per Birdforum)

3rd February - Sightings

RSPB - Bittern again Dosthill NR on Northern pit (J Morgan)
Ladywalk - 2 Siberian Chiffchaff still. Also ringed Siberian (or integrade) still present but not calling (Many Obs) Jack Snipe with 12 Common Snipe below Riverwalk hide (S Cawthray)
Dosthill (Warks) - 2 Long-Tailed Duck (m,f) still (A Archer)

Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker - David Taylor

RSPB - Bittern still Dosthill NR on northern pit in reeds nearest river (TP, J Allen) 11 Little Egret roosted Middleton Heronry (J Allen)
Dosthill (Warks) - 2 Long-Tailed Duck (m,f) still, 120 Shoveler (TP, J Allen)
Ladywalk - 2 Siberian Chiffchaff, 4 Common Chiffchaff, Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker. Also Mealy Redpoll at Sainsbury's Hide feeders (Many obs)
Wishaw - 30 Grey Partridge Wishaw Lane (G A Williams)
Hams Hall - Firecrest still near Edison Roasd bridge (RBA)

RSPB - Bittern flushed from the river bank late morning and landed in Dosthill NR (S Atkinson) Bittern Fisher's Mill Noon (J Fincham). 6 Little Egret, Shelduck North Pit. Also Stonechat, Woodcock, Oystercatcher  (S Atkinson, G Williams)
Dosthill(Warks) - 2 Long-Tailed Duck still (S Atkinson, G Williams)
