Bodymoor - Whooper Swan(ad) with 6 Mute Swans in field off A4091 as viewed from end of Bodymoor Heath Lane (G Williams et al)
Hams Hall - Firecrest still in outfall area but mobile. Also 10+ Chiffchaff (TP et al) now 2+ Firecrest late afternoon (S Haynes et al)
Dosthill (Warks) - Great-Northern Diver(juv) still at western end. Also 103 Pochard (TP)
Kingsbury - 27 Pochard Broomeycroft Pool. c70 Pochard Hemlingford Water (TP)
Lea Marston - Long-Tailed Duck (1st Win Male) still (TP et al)

Late News:- 3/1/13 Fisher's Mill Bittern seen flying by  at 3:42 p.m from one area of reeds to another (Roger Shilton per J Harris)

4th January - Sightings

Lea Marston - 2 Long-Tailed Duck (often only 1 on view), Scaup(fem) still (many obs) Scaup (1st Win Male) + 8 Goldeneye (Dennis Jones)
Ladywalk - Mealy Redpoll at feeders (S Cawthray) Scaup(fem) this morning (Birdguides) This is possibly the bird from Lea Marston.
Hams Hall - Firecrest still at Edison Road and favouring the northern side of the bridge in roadside trees. It appears to be foraging alone. Also 10+ Chiffchaffs and 12+ Goldcrests. (K.Wimbush, RJ Thomas et al) Pale Chiffchaff still present (possibly Scandanavian) (D Jones et al)
Shustoke - 2 Great-Northern Diver still, 8 Goosander (Many Obs)

3rd January - Sightings

Hams Hall - Firecrest still nr Edison Road Sewage Outfall  but on opposite side of the road in large bramble patch and road side willows. Also Lesser-Spotted Woodpecker, 5+ Chiffchaff (K Sargent, S Haynes)
Shustoke - 2 Great-Northern Diver still. 8 Goosander (K Sargent)
Lea Marston - now 2 Long-Tailed Duck and Scaup(fem) (S Haynes, D Hutton)
Dosthill(Warks) - Great-Northern Diver(juv)  still on Main Pit. Also Ferruginous hybrid still, 77 Pochard, 11 Goldeneye but no sign of Long-Tailed Duck. This has presumably moved to Lea Marston (J Harris)
RSPB - 2 Stonechat (J Harris)
Coton - Yellow-Legged Gull(ad) in roost (J Harris)
