Ladywalk - Reed Warbler from Hide B early morning (D Daniel)
Coton - 2 Reed Warbler from hide (D Hutton et al)
Bassett North - Greenshank, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 6+ White Wagtail this afternoon (J Harris, S Cawthray) All present this evening with additionally Pink-Footed Goose, Ruff,  Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 2 Common Tern, Peregrine (TP)
Middleton - c20 Waxwing by Craft Centre Car Park. Yesterday they were near Silt Pool. Green Sandpiper Hall Lake (S Cawthray)

Bassett North - 3 Dunlin, Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Tern, White Wagtail (A Archer)
Coton - House Martin (Bobby D)

Migrants such as Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Swallow, Sand Martin are now back in numbers so won't be reported here unless in large numbers.

3rd April - Sightings

Middleton - 4 Green Sandpiper, 2 LRP Hall Lake (Many Obs)
Shustoke - Cuckoo flew over calling (A Archer) A very early sighting. Also Red-Crested Pochard still (Many Obs)
Wishaw - 2 Wheatear (m,f) by Beehives off Blindpit Lane (TP)
Bassett North - Pink-Footed Goose, Dunlin, Green Sandpiper, White Wagtail, Common Tern, Willow Warbler (TP, S Cawthray)

2nd April - Sightings

Sandwich Tern - Dave Huton

Shustoke - Red-Crested Pochard(f) still on small pool (P Forbes) Sandwich Tern flew in c6.20pm (S Cawthray et al) Interestingly this bird is ringed. One of many inland records today.
Wishaw - 3 Wheatear (3m) near Bee Hives off Blindpit Lane (TP)
Bassett North - Dunlin (J Allen)
Middleton - 5 Green Sandpiper, LRP Hall Lake (TP, J Allen)
Alvecote - Osprey over Pretty Pigs Pool to North (J Morgan)
