Bassett North - Scandanavian Rock Pipit in field between canal and North Pit with Pied Wagtails late afternoon. Also Peregrine, 2 Ringed Plover, Redshank, 15 Shelduck but no sign of Spotted Redshank (TP)

17th March - Sightings

Bassett North - Spotted Redhank winter plumage North Pit 3.25pm at least (J Allen et al) Also 3 Ringed Plover, Redshank, 2 LRP, Dunlin, Sand Martin (Many Obs) A record shot of Spotshank here by Bobby D.
Dosthill - 20 Pied Wagtail, 5 Meadow Pipit (S Haynes)

Whitacre Heath NR - 1+ Mealy Redpoll with up to 17 Lesser Redpoll (Many Obs)

14th March - Sightings

Marston - Little-Ringed Plover, Sand Martin (A Dean)
Kingsbury South - Barnacle Goose of unknown origin with Canadas briefly, Yellow-Legged Gull (4cy) still Bodymoor Heath Water (A Dean)

Bassett - 3 Smew (m,2rh), 3 Ringed Plover, Pr Redshank,4 Oystercatcher, 3 Little Egret, 4 Snipe (S Cawthray)

Middleton - Green Sandpiper, 2 Sand Martin, Pr Raven Hall Lake (S Cawthray)
